Commissions with Bravais Lattice are an interactive process focused around making an invaluable and timeless piece for you.
All custom fine jewelry prices are designed with computer-aided design. My standard hourly rate for design is $50/hr with a cap of 9 hours. After each 3-hour design session, we will have a creative review of the current renderings, and therefore 3 creative reviews are offered per commission.
I require an initial down payment of $500 for silver pieces and $1000 for gold pieces. Then after the piece is completed and prior to shipment, I will provide an invoice for the final payment that transparently represents the design hours, stone cost, metal cost, and manufacturing cost with the initial payment deducted.
The first step in the commission process is sourcing a stone. I will initially reach out to get a feel for your preferences on type, color, cut, and price range. I will not order any stone until I receive your direct approval. I will ask for additional payment up-front if the stone preference exceeds $500.
Throughout the whole design and manufacturing process, I will be in clear communication and available to answer questions at any time. Our email correspondences and design reviews will not be added in the hourly tally, so please reach out at any time.
Please also be aware that precious metal prices are constantly fluctuating, and I cannot tally the total metal cost until I receive and weigh the ring. Therefore, the final ring price will be calculated considering the market cost of the metal at the time of completion.
